CHERO is a mom to a wonderful 9 year old boy, a wife, an African woman over 40 years old, and a Miscarriage survivor. Having gone through many hardships and celebrations through her journey of becoming, she understands what other women go through and is connected to the fact that one cannot make it out a Victor alone! Her previous lifestyle wasn’t always healthy, having been involved in the party scene, drinking heavily to now boasting 1 year of sobriety. She has opened herself up as a coach, a workout buddy, and the much needed support system one would need if battling post partum or post miscarriage depression, and pre-natal fertility journeys. She is very approachable, and understanding. She loves to make fitness fun and doable by sharing her healthy nutritious smoothie recipes, daily workouts, links to workout content, daily motivation, thus helping others to build and stick to good habits. She prides herself with the abundant love she has of wanting to help others reach their fitness goals and be their best wholesome selves.
On a mission to build her healthy friends community, Chero is also a Content creator, Fitness enthusiast, and podcast host who continues to revive hope through sharing credible information on health, fitness and wellness. And she proudly brings this all to you colorfully through the eyes and voices of Africa’s finest.
Chero was born in Kenya and moved to America at the age of 11. 18 years later, she returned to Kenya and lived there for 10 years. She has now spent 2 years living in Mexico. This diversity and time away from home has honed her pride in her culture and home country. She is convinced now more than ever that Africa needs to sit on top of the world map. Full of charisma and determination, her proactive nature is hard at work, determined to see her mission accomplished one episode at a time. Her passion and focus drive her character to continue pushing boundless boundaries.

I was the Host of "Scoop news" , "SNOOPS" and "Entertainment buzz" on @startimeskenya . I loved the experience of reading entertainment news following a teleprompter which is a skill I am proud to have mastered.
For a truly pan-African feel, the channel was fully localized with African voice overs, a daily locally produced entertainment news show and other local productions. It aired on Kwesé TV’s entertainment line-up.
What a great opportunity to Co-host this singing reality competition. This platform gave talented singers from all over the country from ages of 10 - 40 years a chance to live out their dreams on National Television. The winner walked away with Millions of Kenya shillings among other prizes.

I was an on-air host for this weekly TV magazine show called "Str8upLive". The programme was a 2 hour live entertainment magazine show that highlighted the latest music artists both locally and internationally. We have hosted artists like Sautisol from Kenya to Yemi Alade from Nigeria just to name a few. One of the top, best and longest running music shows in East Africa with a special focus on the youth, their growth, development and unique energy keeps the viewers glued. We also had a segment called "tubonge" that held discussions which intend to inspire positive action among Kenyan youth aged between 16 to 35 years. We would hold discussions both online and live on air targeting the specific areas of interest for our audience and share expert advise as well as borrow from our own personal experiences as young people to help the audience deal well with each topic. Fun and informative was always key!
